About Noida Metro Network

The Aqua Line serves Greater Noida and Noida sectors, running roughly North-South. It is popular among IT professionals and students of the Knowledge Park area. The line features modern trains with regenerative braking and Wi-Fi at stations. An interchange with the Delhi Metro Blue Line at Sector 137 provides connectivity to Delhi NCR.

Currently you can travel near Sector 62 of Delhi Metro via fee metros. An upcoming interchange at Sector 137 will provide a direct connection.

Does the Aqua Line go to Greater Noida?

Yes, the southern end of the Aqua Line extends all the way to Greater Noida, including Knowledge Park-II, Pari Chowk, and the Depot Station.

History & Evolution of Noida Metro Network

Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) operates the Aqua Line, India's first metro to be totally within a single city district (Gautam Budh Nagar) without extending to another city. It was inaugurated on 25 January 2019. Since then, plans have been underway to merge with the Delhi Metro Blue Line at Sector 137 for seamless transfers.
