History & Evolution of Jaipur Metro Network

Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) operates the metro in the Pink City. The first section from Mansarovar to Chandpole was inaugurated on 3 June 2015. This makes Jaipur only the seventh city in India to have a metro rail system. Phase 2 expansion plans are actively being planned to extend coverage to more areas of the city.
