The Gandhinagar Metro extension links Motera (Ahmedabad end) to GIFT City and Gandhinagar Capital. This unique corridor passes through the Sabarmati Riverfront and connects two cities seamlessly. GIFT City, India's first IFSC (International Financial Services Centre), gets direct metro access boosting its economic development.

It was inaugurated in 2023 and represents a landmark in connecting a twin-city metro region.
